Has it really been Seven Years since my last blog?

How time flies!

It has been seven long years today since my last blog post on here, hard to believe. I have been busy during this time with several new hobbies including keeping tropical fish, collecting Oakley sunglasses and now collecting watches. Corkscrew collecting has taken a back seat but saying that it still has a place in my heart.

The trouble as I see it with corkscrew collecting is keeping enthusiastic especially after being in the game for so long. Recent events have not helped either, Covid 19 has stopped us going to Antique fairs, shops and centres plus meeting with our corkscrew collecting friends. Large events and meetings have been cancelled in the UK and abroad, it is a sorry state of affairs.

This last year has been a good one for me, I have added several high end pieces to my collection, things are still out there to be found, just not always in the familiar places. Over the next week I will add some details and images of some of the corkscrews that have recently been added to my collection and I will be more active on my website for sure.
